The cottage takes its name from its original use.  This was the farm’s wood workshop. A comprehensive renovation of this traditional stone workshop results in relaxed modern living space over two floors.

Because of the location of this cottage the area does not suffer from any light pollution and as such on clear nights you can experience some truly breathtaking dark sky stargazing.

Days can be lazy and restful or activity filled in this beautiful location.

  • Less than a mile to the coast
  • Excellent Wi-Fi throughout the property

The property is located in a quiet hamlet just one mile from the town of Amble. Right from your doorstep you can explore a range of walking, cycling and running routes  and restful views of beautiful open countryside from the garden.
