This property was the original Coastguard Station in Amble from where the lifeboat used to be launched from mid 1800’s. A sensitive renovation and rebuild has taken place to allow the house to become a stunning open plan residence with the best location in Amble, You could not be staying any closer to the sea. This house is light and airy with full east to west views.

The views, from almost every window, are out of this world ,and you can almost see the fish in the sea-you are so close!!!!!
All the super fish and Italian restaurants are in walking distance-we love The Old Boat House and Rossini Italian!!!

I just feel for such an upmarket house it should have a television in each bedroom not just the master room.
Check in time is also extremely late ( 5pm ) you lose a day’s holiday .

Exceptional house in an exceptional location with the most amazing views. Certainly would be hard to beat. Something for all (our party ranged from a 17 month old to a 71 year old). Lovely welcome pack which was a lovely touch from the owners whose communications with us were second to non even receiving a text with the best places to visit and eat including handy tips on where to avoid which was great. Great games room. My only recommendations would be to have a sensor light by the bins and by the front door as very dark out there on a night and also with the luxury of the house would have expected a tv in all bedrooms (however this is nitpicking and most certainly would not put me off returning).

What a wonderful place to stay. We are six friends who holiday in Northumberland every year and this is the first time actually staying in Amble itself. This cottage is in a perfect location and the cottage itself is extremely comfortable and ideal for a group of six. Having an en-suite in each room is a bonus. The cottage offers plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, the beds are really comfortable and the views from the main bedroom is to die for. Love the balconies too. Fabulous!

Kitchen was very well equipped. Lots of great eateries within walking distance and beautiful Sandy beaches just around the corner. This place was simply stunning!

A superb luxury holiday house in a stunning location. Everything was perfect and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed cups of tea in the morning on the terrace of our bedroom, lunches on the large terrace off the dining room, and games of pool and darts on wet days. Beds super comfy, amazing coastal views and sunsets enjoyed from comfy sofas in the lounge, enjoyed cooking in quality kitchen, overall plenty of space for everyone. Whole place has a luxury feel and a definite recommendation. Will be back!

The house has the most amazing views! It was warm, comfortable and we felt very much at home. It has been tastefully decorated and furnished and there was equipment supplied for babies- cot, high chair, safety gates. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again. Just one little negative was the steps from the lounge to the kitchen having a crawling 11 month old with us, but we managed and it certainly didn’t spoil stay. We were very sad to leave!
